Rainy Night Blues " is the result of spending years in and out of New Orleans previous to Kartina. I wanted to portray the uniqueness of the city , the life I experienced. Using coloured pencils in a technique I call fusion my impression of that atmosphere in time became vivid with emotions from those precious years. Using pencils brings life unto my subjects almost as quick as the emotional thoughts inspiring the art.
ah shucks Its morning and I am a evening person... too much paint on the brain..more sketches thru the night. if only I could paint as fast
As a true artist the heart creates the painting and I just go along for the ride. the path always comes to the rescue guilding my hand
